The question has to be ‘why would thy not pay for the release of the Western Journalists as well? If they decided that they would not, why block the ability of the families and corporations from paying?’
That is the case. They stood firm on no negotiating with terrorists to the point where they wouldn’t let the families or corporations who employed the journalists to engage and pay the ransom. It is standard operating procedure for people to have Kidnap & Ransom insurance when they are engaged in these types of careers. Why prevent them from using it?
If this is true it is a serious breech of government policy and a massive cover up. Does anyone remember the Iran-Contra affair? Arms for hostages anyone?

Problem for Obama is...millions of Americans have caught on to his game. He is toast....nope....burnt toast!!! His own Democrat Party better broom Obama quickly...or there will not be a Democrat Party in a short period of time!!!!
