BOULDER - Denver County election officials are taking a break from counting ballots with about 17 percent of the ballots still to go.
Election workers started leaving around 5 a.m.
Denver County tweeted that they were taking what they called a "pause for the cause."
"We want to get our folks rested so they are sharp upon their return," Denver Elections officials said.

Why do vote counters have a “cause” ?

Looks like Hickenlooper has the win. Last I saw he was about 12,000 votes up with 93% of votes counted. Must be more now.

Hicks will win.
Beauprez ran well behind Gardner in key counties.

Yup. The remaining votes come from Democratic strongholds.
I mean the GOP had a gubernatorial candidate conservatives couldn’t bother to pull the lever for.
If you look at the difference between Gardner and Beauprez, Gardner overperformed in what was a good election for him.

Its just like in Alaska.
Comfortable GOP Senate win but the Republicans are losing the statehouse by a razor-thin margin.

Beauprez was the designated loser who kept Tancredo out. Second time he lost the race for Governor. But he was electable.

Beauprez is nothing but a money sucking leach on the Republican party. He has been a retread multiple times and just needs to stay the Hell out. A RINO is there ever was one.

Yup he was the electable moderate.
People saw no burning reason to prefer him over Hicks.

Same reason Parnell is losing to Walker in AK.
What can a RINO do?

Now that the RATs have an idea of how many boxes of “lost” or “misplaced” ballots they have to “find”...

Be on the lookout for older model chevys with fuzzy dice on the mirror and trunks full of ballots.

the ComDem cause is to win by any means.
They must lie to gain and stay in power, nature of the beast.
