Yeah, I think only 2 Senate Dem incumbents went down then. I could have that confused with another year.
Correct, only 2 incumbent senators were beaten in ‘94. I think the last time more than 2 lost was in 1980. Coincidentally this election was on the 34th anniversary of that year’s Reagan landslide.
