Uh oh. If Ebola winds down in Africa, where will Obola get the infected people he needs to infect Americans?
Ebola In Sierra Leone Rising Frighteningly Quickly AGI

When the guy in Dallas was admitted to the hospital a second time, after living with his family for two days with full symptoms, I saw it as an opportunity to see just how bad this can get in a non-third world country. I was looking for the following:
1. will he die (he did)
2. Will his family get infected and, if so, will they die? (None of them caught it).
3. Will anyone be infected by him? (A couple of nurses did get infected)
4. Will those infected by him die? (they both got better)
The answers to those questions have come in the last couple of weeks. Ebola is not a threat in this country. At least, not as bad a threat as falling in the bathtub.
I had the added benefit of being on vacation for a week and a half. I shunned any news. When I came back (sunday), regarding Ebola, I was in a different world than when I left.
How long did it take Firestone to build an isolation facility?
Three days was it?
If a quarantine saves just one child's life, it's worth it.
Bring out your dead! The Dark Man cometh! Bring out your dead! The Dark Man cometh! Bring out your......
(Since all records of obama's past were lost in a tragic boating accident and fire, no one can be certain that the guy in the red circle isn't him...)
Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.
The purpose of the Bring Out Your Dead ping list (formerly the Ebola ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the Bring Out Your Dead threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
