"Why should only black churches be able to do politics?"

That is the hypocrisy of all this. Here in Seattle, Mt. Zion Baptist Church (African American) has been a bastion of Democratic politics for decades, and the press has not only not criticized it, but has written puff pieces in favor of it. Some Democratic pols, who do not even live in the area, have become members.

My church has participated in Pulpit Freedom Sunday. If only ALL Bible-believing churches would do the same.
