Democrats and the media have been making much of the fact that Democrat Senate candidate Michelle Nunn has a real chance to win Georgia, but the truth is that she has failed to post any kind of lead in 7 of the last 7 polls. Other than a tie in one poll, Nunn's Republican challenger, David Perdue, has not only led in every poll, but his lead has widened to 3 or 4 points.
If neither candidate can reach the magic 50 percent plus one mark, there will be a run-off on January 6. Thus far, Perdue sits at a Real Clear Politics average of 46% while Nunn hovers a little below 44%. Other than one poll in the middle of September where Perdue hit 50%, all the polls show both candidates falling short of 50%. A libertarian candidate is picking up an average of 3.6%.
Nate Silver's FiveThirtyEight predicts Perdue will win 50 percent plus one tomorrow, but says a runoff is looking more and more likely. FiveThirtyEight also says Perdue would be favored to win a run-off.
From the looks of the polling today, in order to retain the Senate, Democrats will have to hold New Hampshire and North Carolina (both of which are statistically tied) and snatch Kansas and Georgia from Republicans. That's possible but a tougher hand to win than where the GOP currently stands.

Not sure he’ll avoid a runoff but I am tentatively now predicting a Perdue win either way.
Nunn campaign has always been marketed as a “RACE” simply to capture out of state campaign contributions.

If you’re among the ranks of Americans increasingly concerned with where Obama and the leftist Democrats have dragged this country but believe that YOUR vote is inconsequential or irrelevant, spend a few minutes watching the video at the link below. Let me tie this video to perhaps THE most critical issue bearing on our future. That’s the push by fedzilla to hike their assistance to college students for that much vaunted “higher education”.
With some exceptions notable by their rarity, the left dominates the academic institutions in this country. What better way to increase their numbers than to subsidize putting millions of OUR sons and daughters in classrooms controlled by ardent leftist indoctrinators? How many parents do you know who scrimped to put a kid into one of these places only to find the kid, home during a break, spouting leftist anti-capitalist nonsense? Our family isn’t very large – but I can name several.
Time to put some ADULTS BACK IN CHARGE!

Yeh I’m worried about Perdue getting to 50% too. I hate to have to wait til Jan 6th to get this over with.

The real story must really be devastating if the mediot rat packs are ignoring these polls.
Maybe they will drive away the left wing voters, who will not want get off their couches and go outside into the cold to vote.
The only who can take away our votes is the person we see in the mirror.

I don’t see how Nunn could possibly win GA, but I’ve been wrong. I hope I”m not.
The reason Carter is running so close to Deal is because Deal is a pretty milquetoast governor who has serious ethics problems and a bad habit of creating $150,000+ jobs out of thin air for friends - i.e., the new Asst. Commissioner of Education for our Prison System - there has never been one before and the budget is crazy tight, but here comes a crazy new high-pay job for a personal friend.
Deal is bad for Georgia. BUT, yep, I’m voting for him because Carter is insane, has eyes on the White House, and will sell my mother down the river to give a teacher $5 more bucks a month.
^ I should add that I tried to get rid of Deal in the Primary, but I failed.

Do not get overconfident. Nunn trails in polls of living, non-fictional lawful voters. Once the Democrats throw in their vote fraud, it’s going to be a close race. We need every legal voter we can get to put the election outside the margin of fraud.
