But somebody had to go under the bus. I’m sure Mr. Tate rests easily knowing his sacrifice was for the common good.
Kinda dumb of him to take pics, if he’s on security detail ...
Sounds like he got screwed because someone else screwed up.
So, was he unjustly race-profiled by the obamists? A black man with a gun, scary. Even if he was assigned to the job as security.
That just sounds like profiling.
I’m sure the lyin’ king could find this gentleman some employment since he’s such an adoring fan of the lyin’king. And he did supposedly lower himself to speak to the hired help. What a guy huh?
You don’t dare make eye contact with Barry, even when you are talking to him.
It sounds to me like his bosses were pretty gutless. They assigned him to the job. Why would they not step up and take the heat?
My goodness! Even Obama’s supporters keep getting hurt by him. Note to self, stay away from the President. He’s bad news!
It’s weird that the same person who was ok to escort the President in an elevator is suddenly too much of a risk to allow near his limousine. Crazy!
I hope the security guard nad his son find good jobs soon.
Maybe he will be appointed to lower the royal zipper in the presence of urinals.
Fired because he took picture of the president’s limo? Sounds very suspicious. I bet you he inadvertently got pictures of a naked Reggie Love, sitting in the back seat, waiting for Obama to return.
Well, I despise his President, but I feel sorry for this man. He happened to attract negative attention at exactly the worst time possible. This fellow likely does not keep up with news events, especially not those events that make Obama look even sillier than he is.
During that week or two, the eyes of most Americans were glued to the Secret Service, and their talent of screwing things up, putting the President in danger. That was the week where two, maybe three guys violated the White House grounds, one of them actually running inside. That was an extremely embarrassing time for the Secret Service, deservedly or not. Their first woman director was esentially fired. Yes, they overreacted. But then this security guard should have known not to do anything that was unscripted. I hope he finds other work. It probably will not be a security job in that part of town though.
Obama make a pass at him he turned down?
That’s a fire-able offense!
I agree but I cuold also understand it. It's not like he was trained as a secret service agent.
Sounds like the real screw up here was that the secret service didn't even ask the CDC if their guards were armed and the CDC didn't volunteer the info.
He said one of the Secret Service agents had told him that it was remarkable that Mr. Obama had talked to him, considering it had taken the president two years to acknowledge the agent.
Two years guarding this fraud and he never said “Hello” to the man.
I still wonder if the SS honcho didn’t say “He didn’t do what we wanted him to do, damn it! Make life hell for him!”
Sounds like he got caught in some SS infighting cross fire.
Working for a contractor in Ga, he can be fired at any time, no reason necessary.
His boss felt he needed to to something to keep his relationship with the CDC, so this guy gets thrown under the bus.
Sad, it was an internal SS problem, not a problem with this guard or his employer.
How in the world do you get a bus on an elevator???
Note that his son who also worked at the CDC was “downsized” two weeks later. Obola job-to-job contact.
Obama rides a really short one.
