Sadly it's not merely babysitting, but essentially the abdication of parental rights/responsibilities.
One of the ten planks of the Communist Manifesto is Free education for all children in government schools. Abolition of children's factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production, etc. etc.
In that the statists have been very successful.
It is:
1) Teaching the child to think godlessly as the godless worldview is constantly force fed into his innocent soul.
2) teaching the child that the same voting mob that gives him tuition-free schooling is the same mob that can give him **lots** of “free” stuff!
Government schooling is evil schooling and all serious conservatives should be working for its complete abolishment. It is not reformable and complaining to the school district is a complete waste of time. Put these evil people out of a job by eliminating this corrupt institution.
