CDC admits droplets from a sneeze could spread Ebola

Ebola is a lot easier to catch than health officials have admitted — and can be contracted by contact with a doorknob contaminated by a sneeze from an infected person an hour or more before, experts told The Post Tuesday.

“If you are sniffling and sneezing, you produce microorganisms that can get on stuff in a room. If people touch them, they could be” infected, said Dr. Meryl Nass, of the Institute for Public Accuracy in Washington, DC.

“I gotta side with the nurse on this. The tests came back negative and she showed no signs. She didn’t fit the CDC criteria. She knew the precautions she took and was knowledgeable about the disease. The checker at the airport didn’t have a clue when they gave the initial test. It was proved to be a false test. That nurse really doesn’t wanna die either. And there was no law in place that allowed her detainment. That is my biggest sticking point. Just because Chris Christie says detain her in a tent in a Jersey parking lot isn’t good enough reason for me. It has no basis in law. And blindly surrendering rights to an authority with no legal basis is a really bad idea.”

I work at a major hospital with a very liberal bent to its administration and employee base. They will argue vehemently that ebola is NOT airborne, because it’s the bodily fluid is the vector, not the air. I just point out that it doesn’t matter, because the person that was sneezed on/at is still infected.
