Finally saw videos on FoxNews this morning. So nice to see his smile.

It has been consistently reported that Sgt. Tahmoorissi had legally owned guns. I've never seen a report that any of his guns were loaded, only that he told the Mexican authorities that he was in possession of guns.

In CA, the law is: The guns must be carried in a locked gun case, Loaded clips and ammo boxes may not be in the same case as the locked gun. We always carried our weapons and ammo (locked in separate cases) in the trunk of the vehicle when we went to the range.

Since we've only been gone from CA for less than 6 months, I don't think the laws have changed.
