It already has. I am a registered Republican for years. I didn’t receive a ballot, have no way to get one. I’m pissed.
I remember 2002 when Party R had both houses and the White House. As soon as they were seated, Party R announced plans to "share power" and allow Party D to retain chairmanships on some of the committees.
Party R is excited about winning the Senate. Meanwhile, Party D has completed its march through the institutions.
