Both your replies stink of conservative defeatism. You think conservatives have to compromise — to lose, only a bit more slowly — because you’re totally at a loss to summon arguments to defend what you supposedly believe.
Are you saying you believe something indefensible? Are you admitting to being hypocrites? Are liberals right in charging that conservatives want to control the lives of others just because they’re mean?
You two are perfect examples of why liberals keep winning. At least they believe in their side.
Pitiful.
What should Cruz have said? He might have said how rich it is that that liberals who bleat about the privacy of their bedrooms cant seem to shut up about what happens there.
um....ok?
I’m totally not getting where you got all of that from my one question.
Cruz spoke well in redirecting the conversation to who gets to make the decisions. Laws in harmony with Christianity are the result of Christians paying attention to the political process and making their volunteer efforts count, as well as demanding accountability from elected officials.
Once a law is passed, it is ineffectual and a waste of breath to shame the people taking advantage of the law, such as people who now consider gay marriage an option for their own lives. Where were the Christians during the past 30 years when the gay-is-OK snowball was building up and up? They were staying away from the polls then because no candidate was pure enough. Or because their holy Christian minds were keeping them in denial -- I remember trying to warn Christian friends of mine in the South that this issue would be picking up steam, and they treated me like I was the devil even for mentioning it in their holy Christian vicinity. Next thing you know, judges took away their Ten Commandments statue and overturned their traditional marriage laws.
The corruption in our present society will not be turned back by sitting home or refusing to vote for a candidate who is manifestly better than the Democrat Socialist opposition, just because the arguably more conservative choice is not perfect enough. And it will not be turned back by government, either even if a government of conservatives could somehow be elected; but by a great awakening in the hearts of the majority of the people, who can then influence government in the right direction.
Is Tim Cook a Christian?
No this is how liberals keep winning.
