“Castor & Pollux” were the name of the ship/ships in the Bible....WHY?

Because the ship in question (i.e. Acts 28:11) was from Alexandria, so its owners were probably Hellenized if not actually Greek. The Twins were regarded as the patrons of sailors, so it was entirely understandable for a Greco-Roman ship to have such a symbol as the figurehead.
