I think that this is ultimately about establishing a legal framework for a Supreme Court-affirmed ruling on mass-asymptomatic quarantine.
Think about it like this: You've got a radical leftist operative threatening legal action in two states so far, and refusing to comply when the quarantine will be over soon. So, who are the people who are complaining about her non-compliance? It appears to be conservatives for social-health reasons. Obviously, a widespread outbreak of a highly-contagious disease with a high mortality rate would be disastrous to this nation, and any right-minded person would be concerned.
But she isn't. Is it because she knows Ebola more than anyone else as it regards to epidemiology? No, she doesn't. But that's beside the point. She is threatening legal action.
So, how does this all play out? She files a lawsuit, she loses, appeals it all the way to SCOTUS where she loses for good. Okay, the quarantine period is long-expired and she's healthy. She'll say she's doing this for the principle.
And she will have been. But, the principle she wants is that the State is legally-justified in establishing quarantine-purposed internment camps. The SCOTUS affirmed legal basis for national security, as I understand it, in the Koramatsu decision and now it will be for health reasons as well as national security, and when the bubbling American Ebola Outbreak of 2015-16 becomes out-of-control (manufactured by importation of Ebola by the Obama Regime), these interment camps will find widespread popular support. Popular and Constitutional.
The problem is that asymptomatic people will find themselves butterfly-netted and quarantined where they will die.
This might all sound rather paranoid and conspiratorially-minded, but I think if you look at the evil bastards in power now, it's not at all hard to see this happening.
If one considers Alinski's 5th Rule For Radicals: Ridicule, its power is in that it causes a reaction on which the radical can capitalize. Make a person react in a way that you want, then you have empowered yourself. If you want to throw a person on the ground, you lightly push him. When he pushes back, you use his momentum and throw him over yourself (Judo).
I really think this is the plan. Not only do they get what they want, but the victims will be begging for, nay demanding it.
Ayers gets his 25 million dead capitalists.
That’s exactly what I’ve been thinking. Both Craig Spencer and this nurse work for the cia-CDC in one way or another. The behavior of Spencer wasn’t the actions of any medical professional, e.g., going on the subway, bowling... Kaci is more arrogant but just as forceful in her message.
Interesting that both of them were in West Africa “volunteering” for less than a month. Kinda expensive for only a few weeks of “assistance”.
