At a “bare minimum,” said Pablo Alvarado, executive director for the National Day Laborer Organizing Network, the immigration orders should include “an extension of work authorization to everyone who would qualify under the Senate bill and an end to the Secure Communities program and policies that criminalize immigrants. The President has the legal authority, the moral obligation, and the political capital required to take these important steps.”
“This is an action that frankly we believe the President should have taken months ago,” said Marielena Hincapié, executive director of the National Immigration Law Center. “The president has broad legal authority to do this. It’s really about his political will.”
“Some might worry the backlash against a bold program will be too great,” said Hincapié. But that backlash will exist whether the President extends relief to one person, 1 million or many more. “We’re holding the president to his word,” she added. “There are no more excuses.”

As I have indicated in related threads, it’s not surprising that immigrants don’t understand that the reason that the Founding States made the Constitution was to limit the federal government’s powers, the feds actually not having the constitutional authority to decide immigration policy, immigration a 10th Amendment-protected state power iissue.
Immigrants also do not understand that the POTUS does not have king-like powers where domestic affairs are concerned. Sadly, many citizens evidently don’t understand that either.

You're not a citizen and you've cut in line ahead of people from 159 other countries, which is very rude by the way. You're not entitled to 'answers' from the People of America, who's only question for you is, 'Are you here legally and entitled to all America has to offer, or are you just visiting?"
May I suggest, my dear misguided compadres, that you take a march on down to Mexico City or points south, and make the demands of your own Presidents that will change your own country so you can actually live there. What American People have built here can be built elsewhere. It's not rocket science - as many countries have learned. And it would be a much more constructive use of your generation than thugging around demanding access to American people's money and treasure that never belonged to you in the first place.

Well that’s all well and good...but Obama isn’t listening nor does he care to abide by the constitution....he’ll ‘flood’ them in and once it’s done let the next administration sort out the details...and then it’s too late and he knows that.
