Good grief...they did it even though the recipient confirmed she got it?

Yes they made him pay it even though he had receipts and she confirmed he had been paid.

The problem was that it did not go threw the state so they could get their cut of the child support. So he went to jail and they took his checks for about three months till he could pay all the child support he had already paid. My sister ended up giving it back to him minus the fee but it took about a month and a half to get threw the system.

It is a scam what they do.

I know another guy who owed child support and they wanted him to tell them when he got a job so the could garnish his wages. So on Monday he called and told them he had a job. The next day they arrested him for not paying child support. He went to jail and lost the job. Good job state of Michigan there.

The friend of the court Is just plain damaging to families after the divorce. I know of even more than these two examples of where the court had screwed the man after the divorce with no concern as to how it affects the family.
