The remaining 18? I’d opt for secession. The fag-marriage states can just go straight to hell as far as I’m concerned. Of course, I do expect the tyrants in the Courts to continue imposing it on the remaining 18, making all of America into Homo-America. And that’s an America who’s death I’d readily cheer.
Without a Constitutional Amendment protecting marriage, the country is doomed.
Unfortunately, there seems to be no effort to pass such an amendment.
We are doomed.
The rest of them adopted it by court order, including ours.
Puerto Rico, if they secede now, won’t see it imposed upon them. RUN PUERTO RICO!
Ok- the Supreme Court in Marbury vs. Madison basically ruined the balance of power between the legislature and judiciary by allowing the SC to overturn legislation as “unconstitutional”.
Why have we never found a way for the legislature to “turn back” the SCs rulings almost like a veto power of the Legislature when the SC tries to impose its will over duly voted legislation?
I know that is part of what the Amendment V conventions want to do, but I don’t have a lot of hope there.
A HUGE part of the problems in this country are the tyrannical judges imposing their ideas. I just don’t believe every state except 18 really wants gay marriage.
