Department of Homeland Security is beefing up protection at federal buildings in Washington, D.C., and in other areas across the country, Secretary Jeh Johnson said Tuesday.
Although he did not cite any specific threats to individual government buildings, Johnson said, "the reasons for this action are self-evident: the continued public calls by terrorist organizations for attacks on the homeland and elsewhere, including against law enforcement and other government officials, and the acts of violence targeted at government personnel and installations in Canada and elsewhere recently."
Thanks for the ping!

With all due respect, I believe the majority of the occupants of the Federal Buildings in DC and USA wide are Tax Consumers - whose salaries, expenses and benefits are paid by tax payers. Many of these tax consumers still have pensions and much better health care plans than the ACA planned for the tax paying “wage slaves”.
Gosh, maybe there’s been an epidemic of people wearing Google Glass! /s
