One of our cats likes to do that. She will jump onto the countertop when you are washing your hands, and wants you to leave the tap running slightly so she can get a drink from it.

My cat, Leo, used to stand on the bathroom sink and cry, “Water!” It was unbelievable. He would half gargle to get the second syllable clear enough we knew whatnhe was saying.

People thought we were crazy until he did it for them.

Yay!

Oh yeah, other weirdness this summer. Next door neighbor dogs taken away on amount of animal cruelty - non livestock.

The animal control asked me for help because neighbor wasn't there or was hiding. Officer took emaciated dogs away. They were is horrible shape. I said we would take them and care for them but officer took them them to Humane Society.

Officer left note on their door to appear in court to prove they could take care of the dogs but they didn't go to court. So, last week two officers came to our house, once again because they were gone or wouldn't answer door.

Officers were there to serve a warrant for them not appearing in court. I don't think they came out. Once again, they blamed us.

The only reason officers came to our house was because no one would answer their door. Officers said they would put siren and lights and megaphone to try to get them out.

They said they heard someone inside who would not response/ They told me to just go inside and ignore the siren and lights and officers telling whoever was inside, if there was someone inside, to come out the front door.

So, my blood pressure got to peak again. If was like an episode of COPS.

Enjoyed talking with officers but could do without the neighbors misbehaving and continuing to hold us responsible. Argh................hope no more visits from popo!
