After a whirlwind of controversy, relentless Twitter users blasted Wally World because they used the word "fat" rather than plus-size before their "sexy maid" and "sexy flapper" holiday costumes...

They searched fat cuz that is what they wanted, got “fat” results, and got angry for it? Idiots.

When I was a kid, we were almost ALL hobo's (that's what we called puttin' on dirty, torn clothes, charcoal on yer face and a brown shopping bag in hand ...)
Three hours later (around 9 or so ... the shopping bag was full ... we were gigglin' an' laughin' and chock FULL o'sugar.
Only later in life did I see people dressing in drag and dracula and all sorts of costumes.
WE kids had FUN !

It’s amazing THIS is what gets people worked up and not real issues like Ebola.

Saw this headline and thought we were getting costumes that make you look like a fat woman.
Turns out it is just plus-size standard costumes.
Ho hum.

If fat girls don’t want a costume, nobody is forcing them to buy one. They need to lighten up.

Come on - if Walmart didn’t love fat people, they would be out of business in a week. :)

Those aren’t “fat girl” costumes.
That’s the Walmart “petite” women’s clothes department.
