How extensive is voter-fraud, especially among non-citizens? Just bring up the question, or suggest we need to have voter-ID at the polls like every other advanced democracy, and the answer will be instantly supplied: Youre a racist. But as Dan McLaughlin points out over at The Federalist, Democrats seem to win a suspiciously high number of close elections, well beyond what a random statistical trial would suggest.
Theres a bombshell academic study out on this issue right now that the media is mostly ignoring (the only exception being the Washington Posts very fine wonky MonkeyCage blog), in part because it appears in an obscure academic journal, Electoral Studies, that is behind an expensive subscription paywall, and in part because any reporter who does a story about it will be called a racist. Since Im an academic these days, Ive got access to the article, Do Non-Citizens Vote in U.S. Elections?, by Jesse T. Richman and Gulshan A. Chattha of Old Dominion University and David C. Earnest of George Mason University.
The conclusion of the abstract alone ought to set off alarm bells:
We find that some non-citizens participate in U.S. elections, and that this participation has been large enough to change meaningful election outcomes including Electoral College votes, and Congressional elections. Non-citizen votes likely gave Senate Democrats the pivotal 60th vote needed to overcome filibusters in order to pass health care reform and other Obama administration priorities in the 111th Congress.
Using data from the Cooperate Congressional Election Study, which sampled 32,000 voters in 2008 and over 50,000 voters in 2010, the authors conclude that as many as 14 percent of non-citizenspotentially as high as 2.8 millionare registered to vote. The authors conclude that a mid-point estimate of 1.2 million non-citizens cast votes in 2008:

The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
As many as they can get away with.
Better question:
How many House seats (and Senate) will Dem-Financed “Libertarians” cost us?
In 2012, I stopped counting at 12 House seats we lost to Dems by less than the margin of the “libertarian” vote.
(vanity comment) I’ve seen this up close in Michigan. The alliance of Communists, labor and criminals, sometimes one and the same, influence elections both legally and illegally. They have done this, I’m told since the prohibition era, when organized crime started. Most of my family, including, I’m sorry to say myself, have just moved away with the jobs. Until places like Michigan become totally depopulated, and lose all their “safe” districts, will this change.
Just enough in the Senate to get to 50 RATs.
I have a bad feeling about Alaska.
Send sound trucks through Hispanic neighborhoods offering $10,000 reward for information leading to arrest, conviction, or deportation of aliens voting illegally.
While were at it, send sound trucks through the ghetto advertising rewards for information about felons who vote illegally, in states where it is illegal.
Don't forget to put earplugs in, not to drown out the noise of the sound trucks, but to deafen the roar of the indignation and allegations of racism which will inevitably result.
Let's see if we get a "chilling" result. Oh, and don't forget to end every sentence coming from the sound truck with "don't let illegals cancel out your legitimate vote, protect your vote!" That should serve as a prophylactic against criticism of racism, not that it will do any good.
I would be so afraid to go illegally into another country and vote. Shows just how stupid we’ve become and how crooked democrats have become. They have no dignity whatsoever. I would never want to hold office that I got by cheating.
Most of them.
54 years later, we still have done nothing serious to stop it.
Since we are the Party of Personal Responsibility, I say “Shame On Us.”
If we lose any election because of fraud, we have only ourselves to blame.
Is the problem the county election offices that don’t catch the illegal votes?
A note of caution, non-citizen property owners are legally allowed to vote in at least local elections.
Oh yeah there will be massive voter fraud.. WHY NOT?...
WHO is to STOP THEM.?. hold them accountable.?. say WTF?...
NOBODY... else it would already been shouted from the rooftops..
It hasn’t been...
WHY NOT.?... apathy on a scale that staggers the imagination..
UNLESS; there are federal security people (of many kinds) paying “visits” to officials..
You know privately.. saying “You know you have a nice little family and a career”..
WHAT IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO IT/THEM?..
Then it is totally understandable..
Your correct, and they will steal, right in front of you. They are getting ready right now
You are making the unjustified assumption that 100% of Libertarians would otherwise have supported the GOP.
In my experience, Libertarians come in two flavors. One group became Libertarians they want the government to keep their hands off their guns. The other because they dislike the government telling them who they can sleep with or what they can smoke.
Group A would probably vote GOP if they had no other choice. Group B would vote Democratic.
And of course if there were no Libertarian candidate some percentage of the Libertarian voters would just stay home.
I think it is going to be funny in a sad way. Poor GOP slobs think thunk they are going to have a lead pipe cinch on the Senate. We would be better off to just ask Putin to nuke DC.
bttt
Oh H&!! don't give it all to Non-Citizen's how about the 1300 Felons that voted for that A$$-Hat Al Franken? That was the 60th vote that was illegal, that gave us Obamacare, and was in part the work of Soros and his Sec of State Project.
I'd love to see that Jackwagon get beat this time around, but given the voter makeup and the influx of immigrants in his State that have a propensity to pull the D lever it is unlikely.
It is paramount that the gains made this fall are at the State Level specifically Governor's and Secretary's of State that will tighten up the basics in terms of voting. Those include purging the rolls of the deceased, felons, snow-birders, re-locations just for starters...
