Okay. Are you suggesting, dear brother in Christ, that the next election is all about some kind of Christian scourging of the GOP? Like the last election was all about preventing a person who held horrendous spiritual views from being elected POTUS, notwithstanding that on any objective view, he was by far "the lesser evil" in terms of the preservation of the liberty interests of the American people and the communities they form?

Your post starts out with two extreme fallacies, one implied, the other explicit:

1. Implied in your post is that there was some type of sizable minority of conservatives that simply because Mitt Romney is a Mormon we could not vote for him. However, as has been posted ad-nauseum here on FreeRepublic, Mitt Romney was and is a Progressive Liberal, and for that reason, more than because his particular religion is a cult, he was rejected by many conservatives.
2. You've stated "notwithstanding that on any objective view, he was by far "the lesser evil" in terms of the preservation of the liberty interests of the American people and the communities they form".

How can this be so when Mitt Romney either supported or supports the following:

  a.) Abortion
  b.) Gay Adoption
c.) Gays in the Boy Scouts
  d.) Gays in the Military
e.) Global Warming Scam, including his own Carbon Trading Scheme
f.) His own form of Socialized Medicine
g.) Taxing everything in site as Governor of MA.
  g.) Banning "Assault Weapons"

Each of these policy positions is either a direct or carries with it an indirect attack on personal liberties by maintain government agencies/functions that fall outside the original intent of the founders of this great country.

Add to that previous list of Progressive Liberal Policy Positions that Mitt supports Amnesty, a Nation Killer!

Okay. Are you suggesting, dear brother in Christ

One other issue with your post, you purport to be a Christian in one breath, while in the other advocating Christians voting for someone (Mitt Romney) who:

1. Supports Abortion(Murdering Babies) in the cases of Rape, Incest, Life AND HEALTH of the mother
2. Supports Gay Adoption
3. Supports Gays in the Boy Scouts
4. Supports Gays in the Military
5. Implemented Gay Marriage in MA and is unrepentant of that fact.

You do not see the inconsistency with your profession of being a Christian and advocating that Christians support someone (with their vote) who is purposefully supporting what he (Mitt Romney) knows to be not only sinful, but an Abomination before our Heavenly Father?
