This race is a toss-up, but many of the polls neglect to include the 3rd candidate, Joe Visconti. Worthless polls, Visconti is running at 9% in others.
recent polls ...
How come we never see articles on the “Dark Money” from the labor unions?
Connecticut Forward $5,120,000 Malloy Democratic Governors Assoc.
Independence USA $1,716,698 Malloy Michael Bloomberg
Common Sense Connecticut $751,100 Malloy Americans for Responsible Solutions
Working Families Party $693,000 Malloy Unions
Same article, $8M for Malloy.
cuz in this case, our dark money is good ....
only the left reads that paper, except for us who just want the info
Dems have and use just as much “dark money”. Here, this phrase is designed to prod the cud chewing sheeple to vote Donk
If they know who contributed the money, why is it dark?
CBS/NYT has it 40 to 40 with 3% for Visconti.
Haven’t seen the details.
A Public Voice, Inc., is a non-profit. They do not have to report each and every donation that they receive.
Dark is good.
I am no longer officially uncommitted in the GOV race. It’s a priority. The Malloy criminal team must be sent packing.
That does not change the fact that Connecticut Republicanism is a mental disorder.
The so-called “media” in CT is shilling big time for Malloy. And the commercials...I keep hearing that Foley is going to repeal the gun law (the one with 15% compliance at best). Foley never said that. So now “more felons” will get guns. Felons get guns? Isn’t there a federal law against that (18 USC § 922(g) & (n))?
I’ve been treated over and over to front page barftastic articles about how Malloy has overcome dyslexia and done so much for the state while Foley has not paid income taxes and put people out of jobs. It’s just ridiculous.
Then there’s the guns. One of the (DemocRAT) candidates for state rep is for “compliance checks” in your home to make sure your guns are stored correctly. Yeah. That will work.
And the coup de gras. Barack Hussein Obama will be in Bridgeport on the Sunday before election day to shill for our idiot governor. Let’s hope he gives Malloy the same bump he gave Mark Lewis in Maryland (-9 points in the polls). My assistant town clerk says absentee ballots are at a record this year. Interesting.
Life behind the iron curtain is quite an experience, isn’t it?
For the MSM, “dark money” = conservative money.
Yay, go RINOS!!!
I wish I didn’t hafta vote for Bruce Rauner, but Pat Quinn is the worst Governor since the communist Altgeld (elected 1892). He must be exterminated.
I was disgusted to read this story, in Sunday’s Danbury, CT News Times, along side a story that faulted Foley for his good efforts, trying to resolve the chaos in Iraq, after the invasion (the best they came up with: Foley was not perfect). Just for good measure, they also dredged up, and republished a story from May, regarding a speeding ticket, Foley received.
Foley will need to win by 20% in the honest vote, just to win by 2% in the tallied vote, after Bridgeport, New Haven, and Hartford (urban areas) check in.
Stalin told us, it does not matter who votes, but rather, who counts the votes.
Please excuse my cynical attitude. Thank you.
well, my fellow walshie, cynicism is but a passing mist ...
Best of luck to you, fellow Walshie. I am a Danburian, of yesteryear, living out West since ‘81.
I was in Fairfield County two weeks ago, the spirits of our fellow Patriots did not exactly give me cause for optimism.
It was a real shame to consider, as I winded through some of the back roads, glimpsed the stone walls were Washington’s forces popped up from, and took on the numerically superior Redcoats, in the name of freedom, and prevailed.
It doesn’t seem like that long ago, I went to the Danbury H.S. gym, and cast my first ballot, for Mr. Reagan, vs. Mr. Jimmy.
I only hope that we live to see such times, again.
Thank you.
I have signed up for 10 hour daily shifts, 7 of the remaining 8 days.
Which means I will drifting off into the netherworld of reality and will largely disappear from cyberspace. No, yes, there will be limited updates. But omitting any details which could lead the opposition to know my whereabouts. Parts unknown.
Carry on, brethren. Win the battle in cyberAmerica and I will take the battle to the burbs of New England. At least one burb.
I can hear the distant drums.
We have a theme song out east. The Brutality of war:
