Asymmetrical civil war could make for some gross unpleasantness on “their” side too. For one small example, “they” have families, staffs, friends, associates, etc. and with the rise in social media, those relationships are discoverable.
I don’t want to see it come to that. I’d prefer to see a widespread Christian revival that increases the character of our Low Morals Electorate to the point where we throw the scoundrels out.
But if it comes down to civil war between a federal tyrant and a population armed with a billion (!) guns, it’s far from a slam dunk, no matter how many apache helicopters they have at their disposal.
Wishful thinking on your part, I fear. Remember the Boston Marathon bombing how people rolled over and complied with every illegal incursion into their constitutional rights.
