We can only pray, but my judgment is, this war has created a Ukrainian state. Things seem very different than they were before in that country. The patriotism and their embracing of a Ukrainian identity does not seem to me to be a temporary phenomena.
I can only agree with that. Ukraine has been brought together.
It still is going to be extremely hard for them. They will have understandable problems from their current state, but this is heavily tilted by Russia certainly spending considerable resources to fuck them up.
I hope Ukrainians come through and try to keep helping them as I can.

If you want to help then Ukraine needs modern tourniquets and wound seal powder. They don’t have such things there. We have been sending them, but they could use more. So if you have some lying around then please contact local Ukrainian organization. These will save lives.
I think soon we will be sending winter boots.
