The nurse currently quarantined in New Jersey is an employee for the Centers for Disease Control and a registered Democrat with a history of left-wing advocacy, Gotnews.com has learned.
Kaci Hickox’s ties to the CDC were not disclosed in a controversial anti-quarantine column she wrote for the Dallas Morning News. The CDC opposes quarantines or travel bans from Ebola infected countries.

In short it was a setup like that photo op with the other nurse with obama. Meanwhile obama and the democrats have brought in at least 1,900 more people from countries that are affected with ebola.
Quarantines are by their nature DISCRIMINATORY! If poor people somewhere have Ebola then everybody gotta have Ebola. Thinking otherwise is RACIST!
If she does not believe in mandatory quarantines then she believes in the right of infected people and people at risk of being contagious to move freely among the population. This is definitely an issue that has to be carefully thought through but at some point quarantines have to be used to avoid infecting millions of people. Perhaps she subscribes to lefist views that we need to reduce the population.

Going the other way, it appears that Dr. Thomas R. Frieden , the Director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Acting Administrator of the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) is more concerned with the politics of Ebola and supporting Obama's public proclamations rather dealing with spread of the disease.

Initially turned down for Doctors Without Borders, Hickox applied for a position with the Centers for Disease Control’s infectious disease unit.
I had to go to Drudge to see what you were talking about. The nurse has the same hair-do as Wasserman Shultz. Yeah.
They are making a big deal of this on FOX right now. They have some creepy doctor on, saying that the quarantine is going to discourage aid workers from going.
I think that they should send them all to Gitmo for 21 days.
Frankly, I am more interested in the fact that the media (and Freeper, too) are not concerned with the fact that the man who shot those three police officers (killed 2) and killed one civilian, was an illegal alien who had been deported twice and convicted in AZ for drug dealing. (He also has gang tattoos)

Anyway, what a coincidence that the author knew this person, had worked with her at CDC, and that the person happened to make a big stink about quarantine rules that the CDC doesn’t like...

Simple,she gets praise and attention for the former,the quarantine gets none.

I think your reasoning is sound here. And I imagine by her "press whining" here, that will she create the feel-good about herself, she must crave. I feel another Sandra Fluke moment upon us. She is not far from running for office under the Democrat banner.
Assuming that she really does believe that her quarantine was unpleasant, by exaggerating it into some type of hell; It is her that is discouraging healthcare workers from volunteering more than the quarantine itself. If She really cared she should have said the quarantine was peachy, no need for volunteers to worry about it...
