"Did God get Moses for smashing the commandments?"

I feel so "ignant" here.

I THINK AND IIRC: Moses brought the tablets down but he saw the heathens, who, in his absence, had built a golden calf to worship.

They had turned their backs away from God and an angry Moses smashed the tablets.

Man, I really have some reading and studying to do!

I should know this by heart for all of my reading. Guess I need a better way of learning!

Don't feel too bad about it; I recently read Genesis to my dying Grandfather (and did some reading in Exodus for some sermons) &mdashh; so it's kind of recently in-mind.
