Makes you wonder where he trained or how he passed..... Or something else like pushed thru? My brother graduated from medical school in the 70’s and said there were many in his class that graduated he wouldn’t ever let them touch him. Just thinking out loud.
This doctor graduated Wayne State Medical School in 2007. Wayne State is in Detroit, so he was probably exposed to more immediate danger there than in Africa. He then trained in Emergency Medicine at NY Presbyterian and is now a fellow in International Emergency Medicine at Columbia. These are elite appointments, so he obviously does not fit into the bottom-of-his-med-school-class category. Hence his violation of voluntary quarantine was not the result of ignorance, but of arrogance.
