I have a hard time believing that the Navy really thinks the oceans may rise one and a half feet in the next 20 years, but that's just me. Could it be Obamatrons forcing this moronic prediction upon the Navy?

A lot of “could”, “may” and “might” in this “report”.

I read that EXACT quote on Weatherunderground this morning. The Church of Algore followers applied their usual Alinsky circle-jerk tactics and denounced him.

There can be no dialogue with Leftists. Ever.

“the Navy really thinks the oceans may rise one and a half feet in the next 20 years”

For almost 10 years, I have been offering liberals pennies on the dollar for any of their soon-to-be-swamp-land down in the Florida Keys should they happen to live there. I have never gotten anyone to take me up on that offer. They don’t seem to want to give up on their property just yet despite Algore claiming that we’re all going to die next year.

Claim That Sea Level Is Rising Is a Total Fraud

Sea levels began to rise 18k years ago at the end of the last glacial period. They have risen about 135 meters since then which is an average of 7.5 millimeters per year. That is an average of 750 mm per century (29.5 inches) which is far more than the average over the last century.

From 1880 to 2000 sea level rose about 20 cm or just under 8 inches. Far far less than the nearly 30 inches per century average over the last 18,000 years.
