I watched a precinct in 2010 for the King Street Patriots (Tea Party) in Houston, in a black precinct in the nearly-totally-black Fifth Ward. The election judge, Mr. Bundchen, ran a slick and professional election, and the only yo-yo to try voting twice (he went home, changed clothes, and came back three hours later) got kicked out by Miss Lydia, the clerk. It didn't help his disguise, that he weighed 350 or 400 pounds.
Meanwhile, Sheila Jackson Lee's votaries did the only election mischief I was aware of, when a man working for her pulled up some signs placed by her rival's campaign. Both were called in by another conservative poll-watcher.
