Is the city hanging their hat on the fact that they are a for profit company that trades on their status as government agents? Just asking. Seems like that point could be clearer if that’s the case.
That is the distinction the city is trying to make, agree or not. Calling it a For Profit entity. It makes me think of the Las Vegas Wedding Chapels, I think there is even a drive through wedding chapel in Vegas, I have no idea how that would work. Such drive-throughs would seem to demean the institution to me. I’m under the impression these For Profits don’t actually issue a wedding license.
