buy only one backup engine for the 40 jets rather than the usual four to six or 10 to 15 percent spare.

Is this one backup engine for each of the 40 planes or just one engine for ALL 40 planes?

Looks like PPPP to me.

I think this is 6.9 Billion USD. Are they actually paying 172 million a copy for that flying Moonpig when F-15SE’s are around 100 million and could wipe out the entire Nork Air Force (or any F-35 it somehow needed to fight) in a matter of minutes?

Flying pork is amazing.

Does South Korea not have any missiles for their F-15Ks? Both the F-35A and the F-15K use the same AMRAAMs.
