WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Barack Obama on Thursday authorized the Pentagon to call up reserve and National Guard troops if they are needed to assist in the U.S. response to the Ebola outbreak in West Africa.
Obama signed an executive order that allows the government to call up more forces and for longer periods of time than currently authorized. There is no actual call-up at this point...

I believe Michael Savage’s analysis on this one. Barry wanted to send troops, the military said no-way jose, so Bam says, okay I’ll call up the guard. So there’s a behind the scenes power struggle going on.
And then, we can replace them ALL with gays and illegals!! This will make it easier to get the military that the libs have long wanted.
This is the most ridiculous thing yet. Close the borders and let the virus run its course. I don’t understand what these 3rd world countries have to offer the USA anyways other than diseases.

The border mission in Texas is a State mission and it doesn’t pay squat.
I’d rather go to Syria than Liberia. It’s safer. Of course, it would warm the hearts of the rats to think “they” were willing to sacrifice (us, not themselves) to stop a cruel disease in Liberia (that we can’t do anything about), and “we” made the sacrifice without using any force at all.
If I was in the National Guard or the Reserves, it would have been to defend my country. NOT to unnecessarily expose myself to a deadly disease on another continent, that we won’t even stop air flights from. BO seems to be very flippant at putting our soldiers at risk in combating this disease, but not against Muslim extremists.
Are they to be authorized to fire on those waving Gadsden flags?

The National Guard is the NATIONAL Guard, not the International Guard. This is not their mission and even if it was it would be a foolish and disastrous mistake to do it.It looks like Obama won’t be happy until everyone in the US has “Obola”.

We go in, spend thousands of lives and billions of dollars to "liberate" them, and then we leave without laying a finger on their mineral wealth.
