Prayers
Prayers for all who will be impacted by this, and first responders, as well.
I know that train! leaves Springdale for Van Buren on a beautiful excursion. Two trains collided.
Have the democrats rushed out an ad blaming in on Republican cuts to Amtrak yet?
Prayers sent.
Each car carried an average of 11 people?
is that relevant?
Once upon a time, under General Code, a flagman would be dispatched to protect the rear of the train, or Train Orders would have been cut telling the extra train to run at restricted speed, which means being able to stop within half the distance to an obstruction on the track. if that meant creeping around curves at walking speed because of poor visibility around the curve, that's what it meant.
What is awful here is now there is going to be some MORE ridiculous federal regulation, when all that needed to happen was someone should have DONE THEIR JOB.
Prayers for the folks.
I think so or I wouldn’t have asked.
