Not bad, except for the E-Verify bit.
E-Verify amounts to a national database of every American, and a requirement that every American get permission from the government to work and earn their daily bread.
In other words, complete loss of liberty.
Stripping away our most precious rights simply because our elected “representatives” refuse to do one of the most fundamentally important sworn duties, which is to protect the states from invasion.
Granted, the e-Verify, ID, and national database are problematic. I’ve struggled with it. I’ve decided that, at least for now, cutting off the economic draw for illegal entry into the country is the more pressing issue.
Yeah, kinda like that Social Security Card.
Nonsense, I got news for you, you are already part of several national databases including social security and the IRS. Everyone is and there is no getting around it unless of course you are an illegal alien.
No amount of border enforcement will work if you keep the pull factor of employment in place. It is a the very heart of the problem.
The government is not giving you permission to get employment, that is already your right. What the government is doing is verifying your right in advance to an employer so the employer does not face fines or criminal prosecution.
