I visited UCLA a few years ago and young friend who was a student there showed me around.
There’s a whole lot of normal life going on at that school. I didn’t see communist club announcements on light poles or even a drum circle or an “activist” handing out stuff.
I saw a lot of people who were fairly normal looking, going to and from classes.
I also saw announcements for Christian religious clubs.
I don’t like that Angela Davis is on their coverpage, but I have to qustion how many of those students know or care who she is. They have work to do, and don’t have the time or the interest in it.
Yup. But you know the administration knows who she is and it’s not accidental that she’s glorified by the same folks who wish they could have been with her back in the day.
Back in the 70’s we had Swami X. Great entertainment.
It was years after that I learned that big hair of hers was a wig! Too funny .
