The patient was admitted LAST NIGHT, but nobody in the media learned it until TODAY???
I’m betting the new “protocol” is to keep as many of these cases under wraps as they can, until after election day.
From Twitter:
President Obama cancels trip CT today for briefing on #Ebola. First case of Ebola at Yale/New Haven hospital, coincidence?
If I admitted an Ebola patient last night, I would shoot the first person who called the media.
That has nothing to do with the elections, and everything to do with the nature of the media.
Hospitals cannot, pro actively, release this information. It’s not a conspiracy, it’s the law. In fact, if you don’t ask the hospital a specific name, they will refuse to tell you whether or not they are a patient. There are no exceptions for public health concerns.
I know. It’s messed up.
