This is going to get out of hand fast..
Let me guess...airplanes are still flying the Ebola infected natives out of Africa?
The person in question on Air France flight 1300with 156 passengers on board, as well as two pilots and five crew membersshowed symptoms of Ebola, including shaking, said a spokeswoman for Air France in Madrid.
It wasnt clear what, if any, other symptoms the passenger showed. And those passengers were likely to be given the go ahead to disembark Thursday afternoon Madrid time, the spokeswoman said.
I’m wondering why American air carriers haven’t had at least as much sense as Air France. Are they prohibited by law from stopping their own flights to/from the affected countries?
Fever with chills and shaking are also classic symptoms of malaria. I had a friend who was a missionary to Nepal and India and displayed these before she was diagnosed.
Which lucky crew gets it next?

Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.
The purpose of the Bring Out Your Dead ping list (formerly the Ebola ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the Bring Out Your Dead threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
Update: All four new suspected Ebola cases test negative for virus. Must now await a second test before being cleared.
