So why doesn’t 1 Republican step aside for the good of the party so that maybe a republican could win?

Sarah Palin keeps coming to Louisiana trying to bolster his election, and Mark Levin keeps endorsing him. Now, Maness may be a good candidate for future elections, but it is delusional at this time. Cassidy did much better in the debate than I expected. Landrieu relied on boilerplate. Manass could help his political future by bowing out and strongly supporting Cassidy.

There are nine canidates in this race. Five democrats, three republicans and
one libertarian make up the voting options. Granted many won’t draw a lot of
votes but each will have some impact. If no one gets 50% +1 in the primary
the top two vote getters go to a Dec. 6 runoff.

Real Clear Politics has Landrieu in the lead for the primary by a couple
of points and Cassiday in the lead for the runoff by five or so.
