I was just going to post the EXACT same thing.
I made the big mistake of visiting my local Walmart on October 1st. The cast of characters streaming into Walmart to spend their Obamabucks was truly disturbing. As I was leaving, a group of six women in FULL BURKAS with a gang of kids were strolling in to spend our money. I don't live in a major city. Where are these people coming from?
I have been saying anytime I have been in a sour, discouraged mood for decades now that there is no hope for this country. It would appear that my worst appraisal of the situation is being proven right. Of course if you subscribe to a certain theory of reality that is in vogue with some it only means that I have created what I have thought about as this is only my version of reality and other, far more optimistic people live in a reality where things are just ducky.
