Believe it or not, I've actually ate some good Tofu deep fried in little cubes before, and put into a great green salad.
But they tell me that it's very hard to "get it right" and not over cook it,
and that it's the last thing to be cooked and has to go straight to the customer, and eaten quickly,
because it gets cold quickly and the contrast between the cold salad and the hot fried tofu is what makes it great.

Tofu’s okay. It’s not something I get excited about, except for its being healthy. I do like Burger King’s veggieburgers though.
