CDC Director Dr. Tom Frieden went on The Kelly File to discuss the Ebola outbreak in West Africa and the US. Frieden argued that a US travel ban on the Ebola inflicted countries would cause the disease to spread.
Dr. Tom Frieden: “Above all do no harm. If we do things that make it harder to stop the epidemic there it’s going to spread to other parts of the continent…
Megyn Kelly: How’s it going to make it harder to stop?
Dr. Tom Frieden: Because you can’t get people in and out.
Megyn Kelly: Why can’t we have charter flights?
Dr. Tom Frieden: You know, charter flights don’t do the same thing commercial airlines do.
Megyn Kelly: What do you mean, they fly in and fly out?…
Dr. Tom Frieden: If we isolate these countries, what’s not going to happen is the disease staying there. It will spread more, all over Africa and we’ll be at higher risk.

No one is calling for a cessation of help from health care workers who want to volunteer to go help. The controversy is over allowing people in who are carriers of the disease. The American soldiers who were ordered to the area did not use a commercial carrier.

So far the false positive rate is 100%.

The people in power have been creating a borderless world for at least sixty years. They have achieved functional borderlessness in the USA, using the covert revolutionary tactic "think of it always, speak of it never". Most Americans still believe we have the ability to close our borders on short notice, when clearly we do not.
In any event, Obama, his HHS secretary, his Labor secretary, his acting Surgeon General, his CDC Director - all of them would DIE before they agreed to stop the flights, because doing it would affirm our borders as actual physical objects and demonstrate that it could be done, and they are mortally opposed to both of those things.
The POTUS is on the golf course, or at a $30K plate fundraiser or sleepin in til Reggie comes knockin. But he's absolutely at the center of this joke of a response from CDC. Frieden's continued adherence to this tortured, ridiculous excuse for keeping our borders open comes straight from Obama.
IMHO, Frieden doesn't believe any of the nonsense he's parroting. He's simply sold his soul.

The benign explanation for this madness is that these people are incompetent. And its a tempting conclusion, because stupidity is so much easier to accept than cold, steadfast willingness to sacrifice so many innocent lives to The Cause.

When was the last time anyone heard of a bunch of Africans suiting up and going to some foreign country to help with earthquake relief - - or anything helping others? Frieden needs to do his job and protect Americans... if he can't do that he needs to quit.

FRIEDEN: Absolutely. More is not always better. Better is better. Sometimes you put on more layers, it’s harder to put on, harder to take off, you increase your risk of exposure. That’s what the science tells us.
