That is my question. Shouldn't the primary mission of the CDC have been preparing for things like Ebola? I mean, they knew that a disease called Ebola existed. Shouldn't they have game planned a strategy that they could pull of the shelf and put into effect? It seems like they are flailing around for a coherent response. It's all right there in their name : Center for Disease Control. Control. That is what we so dearly need.

When did they trim away the “and PREVENTION” department of the CDC? Maybe when they fell into the pocket of BigPharm, the prevention department became counter-productive?

They should be shutting all avenues to the disease as a public health protocol. They should be arranging travel for health US care workers to and from the infected regions.
