SCOTUS will overrule. You heard it here first. Not 100% confident in my “bold prediction a la NFL Channel” but there has been a major change in SCOTUS over last month. (Today’s abortion stay in TX being another example). Something is going on (no not some sill conspiracy ‘they’ve got something on them’ crap). But their is a clear ideological shift. It is unsettling at best.

Yep, somebody has a picture of Roberts with the metaphoric sheep for sure. That became apparent when he virtually rewrote Obama Care and declared it a tax.
They will not, in my opinion. This stay is based mostly on timeing as the District Court ruled too close to the election. I think that it will fail on the merits as well. If not in the District Court, then at the 5th Circuit. Those boys and girls in New Orleans don't mess around. Since that ruling will be in line with SCOTUS decisions, the court will not agree to hear it.

I do not think they’ll step into this pile of poop until way after the election...Too many other states are being hammered about this right now as well...
Which would lend itself to a pre-determination that this is a “states rights” issue...
