As it pertains to the Republican primary in 2016, Cruz said the litmus test for GOP voters should be whether a given candidate has led on the battlefield of ideas against the left and political establishment as a whole.
I think the critical question for any primary voter in terms of who to support is: Who is standing up and leading? Thats the test I intend to apply as a voter who will vote in the Republican primary in 2016, Cruz said. Elaborating, Cruz stated:
Were facing enormous challenges, fiscal and economic threats, threats to our Constitutional liberties, a world that keeps getting more and more dangerous as America has receded from leadership. What we should be looking to is who is standing up and leading? Who is making the case that the path were on isnt working and there is a better path? We can get back to the free market principles. We can get back to the constitutional liberties that this country was founded upon. What I would encourage everyone who is thinking about this to do is stand up and lead.
When asked what has surprised him most in just under two years in the U.S. Senate, Cruz said he has been most surprised by the cowardice of some Republicans he works alongside:

Long story, short, friend ... Y’all may continue to bury your heads in the sand, but in doing so, with your butts are high and dry in the air, Goldman & Sachs is gonna bite you hard. And who is going to stop them? Ted Cruz? Particularly when his wife is one of their leading executive officers? I think you need a reality check.
That linkedin link just states that Heidi Cruz works for GS.
That Barnhardt footnote just says that Heidi is married to Ted.
The Forbes article doesn’t say anything about what sort of derivatives are held by the banks or who the counter parties are. It also lists notional amounts as if they are the actual amount at risk which they aren’t. It’s useless without that data.
The OCC report shows derivative exposure dropping, a fact helpful to you.
What you are good is at posting links as if they are helpful to your argument when they are saying nothing at all. It’s proven to be a waste of time to chase down your links because they turn out to be shaggy dog stories.
I think you like them because most people aren’t familiar with the world of banks and finance and won’t see that what you are posting is chaff without substance.
