A waitress in Augusta, ME, told me a few months ago never to eat lemon slices, as it will cause tooth decay, in her analysis.


It is tough on teeth. They’re very acidic. My dentist told me to drink some water afterwards and it would help.

If you are dedicated brush with baking soda after sweet sticky foods like candy and after acidic foods. Baking soda is alkaline so neutralizes it. If you are on a sodium restricted get the potassium version of baking soda. Potassium bicarbonate. Found on ebay and amazon
