You're right. Brian's "I won't travel" breakdown occurred on a flight from L.A. to Houston in December 1964. Glen replaced Brian and remained a Beach Boy until March 1965.

Thanks for the Ed "Big Daddy" Roth note. I don't believe I had ever seen that anywhere.

There were 3 of the Big Daddy albums released (2 car related, one surf, all reissued by Sundazed with performer credits). They were on Capitol records.

Gary Usher produced a lot of “surf” recordings, they may not always be the chart toppers, or best songs, but he was plentiful. And I think Glen Campbell played on many of them.

And while Glen may have done session work with the Champs, I’ve heard ,from people who were there, that Glen was not on Tequila as has been rumored.
