The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

Her bf is now in isolation being watched for signs of Ebola. (click thru to story on Gannett link above.) So you may have your chance to take Nurse Pham to dinner. A better outcome would be for the young couple to be reunited. With Bentley the St. Charles Spaniel too.

And because of racism, or possible racism, they will not monitor or quarantine all her family members in Cleveland, and the fiance? Hopefully, these nurses believe in waiting for marriage, because sexual intercourse is a rapid means of transmission of ebola.
