I hope this isn’t a case of desperation because the RC church has a shortage of priests. Is this the first step towards accepting homosexuals as priests?

I feel for my conservative RC friends who will be shocked and dismayed by this.

the shortage of priests and Vatican two pretty much brought in and accepted many homo priests...

can a celibate homosexual man be a priest and a good one?...of course....but I suspect they rarely are...
