If a nurse in full-protective gear can catch it in a state-of-the art American hospital, then I have no doubt that our troops will catch it too and bring it back with them.

I would wager the nurse became contaminated during the “disrobing” process out of the protective clothing.

This is the “protocol” they keep referring to, and based on a few seconds of video they keep looping on TV of people exiting the controlled area, there are lots of vulnerabilities in this area egress process in the one they filmed.

I have seen hospital personnel generally fail on good contamination control practices when performing drills with simulated radioactively contaminated patient. They need oversight and direction at every step, something which I am sure is lacking in vitually every hospital.
